Elixir Developer

Are you passionate about clean open-source code and the opportunity to impact the nation's fastest-growing social network? As an Elixir Developer, you will help build robust elixir systems with a team that loves quality software, elixir, functional programming, and efficiency.

What you will do:

  • Architect, build and deploy various elixir systems that undergird Truth Social
  • You understand how to balance good data-driven software design with customer needs
  • Work with systems at large scale
  • Help develop and support internal SLOs for high reliability


  • 4+ years of production experience with at least one elixir project with an understanding of core elixir principles
  • You have experience with Phoenix, Broadway or Genstage
  • You have an understanding of the BEAM
  • You have experience in other strongly typed languages that makes you appreciate Elixir
  • You are skilled with system design for long-term development decisions.
  • Experience with Postgres, Redis, ETS. Newer datastores like Cassandra are a plus.

Nice to have:

  • Experience deploying Elixir applications
  • You have a strong understanding of OPT Erlang Run Time Systems (ERTS)
  • Knowledge of LiveView
  • Experience developing full stack solutions

Other Information:

  • Must be in a location that is +/-3 of EST
  • Ideally able to work for any US employer without sponsorship.
  • No Visa program currently.
